INTERVIEW with ELITE FIGHTERS – PM CoD2!

On the Polish Call of Duty 2 scene, there are teams that fight for every frag, and then there are teams like Elite Fighters – a crew proving that esports is primarily about the people. We had the pleasure of talking to the largest and one of the most veteran squads, who have been with us continuously since the 2007-2008 era.

Why is this worth watching?

Elite Fighters are a phenomenon. Although they admit they weren’t favorites at the last tournament (preparations were limited to just a month and a dozen or so sparring matches, mostly lost), their strength lies elsewhere.

• A True Story: This is a group of friends who have stuck together for nearly 18 years. Instead of “sweating” for results, they focus on having incredible fun and reuniting after all these years.
• Life vs. Game: You will learn how hard it is to gather the “old guard” in the age of professional and family duties. You’ll also hear an anecdote about how one player had to buy a sealed copy of CoD2 just to be able to play! 
• Emotions: Despite a match record that isn’t stunning (matches lost, though the last one was a close call up to 11 rounds), the guys haven’t lost their spirit.
• A Moving Moment: The interview also made space to remember those who are no longer with us – the team paid a beautiful tribute to their friend, Konrad, who passed away four years ago.

This content isn’t about tactics and headshots, but about how a computer game can connect people for a lifetime, creating bonds that today involve entire families.
