GOTN: 180-Day Ban for Tanaka?
A recent match between 🇺🇸 APEs and the team VOD has caused a lot of talk in the Gathering Of The Nerds (GOTN) community. Even though it was a practice match (scrim), the CABAL admins say that trust and respect are the most important things for the group.
24 Hours to provide proof
The GOTN admins officially asked player 🇺🇸 Tanaka to send his game recordings (demos) from the match against 🇺🇸 APEs. They need the files for all three maps:
- Matmata
- Carentan
- Burgundy
The player has 24 hours to send the files. If he fails to do so, he will be suspended for at least 180 days immediately.
New Rules: No Demos = Guilty
The admins explained that this is not a direct cheating accusation yet. However, they are setting a new, strict rule: if a player does not provide demos when asked by the Anti-Cheat (AC) team, it will be treated as an admission of guilt.This will result in a minimum 6-month ban from all GOTN events.
In the future, a new Anti-Cheat group made of respected community members will handle these investigations to keep things fair.
