dfiance Champions of COD2 MČR #4!

The finals of the COD2 Mistrovství České Republiky #4 tournament ended today at the Vodafone Playzone in Prague 🇨🇿. Twenty Czech teams joined the competition. Although an external group hosted the tournament, this offline LAN event was the first time our stats system was fully tested in action and passed the exam ! The winner of the whole event is 🇨🇿 dfiance. They beat 🇨🇿 TeamGhost in the grand final, and 🇨🇿 EVIL5 took third place.

The playoff stage was controlled by the finalists. On their way to the final, 🇨🇿 dfiance did not lose a single map. They won 2:0 against 🇨🇿 Chlastlan, 🇨🇿 faux pas, and 🇨🇿 CITRONS. 🇨🇿 TeamGhost reached the grand final with the same score. After winning 2:0 against 🇨🇿 DuPLexity and 🇨🇿 OFFLINEGAMERS, they defeated 🇨🇿 EVIL5 in the semi-final .

The BO3 grand final started with a win for 🇨🇿 TeamGhost, who closed the Breakout map with a score of 13:05. But 🇨🇿 dfiance answered on the next two maps. Players from 🇨🇿 dfiance won on Burgundy and Dawnville with the exact same score of 13:06. This gave them a 2:1 match victory and the championship title .

The post-match stats from 18 maps show that the runners-up, 🇨🇿 TeamGhost, had higher numbers in key team stats . They finished the tournament with a Team K/D of 1.46, 1379 total kills, and 128 OBJ Plays. The winners, 🇨🇿 dfiance, had a Team K/D of 1.39, 1366 kills, and 97 OBJ Plays. Both teams had the same average team score of 16 (AVG Score) .

For individual players, our stats system shows clear leaders in both teams. In 🇨🇿 dfiance, 🇨🇿 nrai777 became the Star Player with an AVG score of 18, 314 kills, and a 1.74 K/D ratio. 🇨🇿 DudlajS had the highest K/D in the winning team (1.84) with only 150 deaths. In 🇨🇿 TeamGhost, 🇨🇿 lxk had the highest average score (AVG 19). Meanwhile, 🇨🇿 KHILLIXUR got 312 kills, giving him a K/D ratio of 1.84.

Map pool data proves that 🇨🇿 dfiance was 100% effective on the final maps. They finished the tournament with no losses on Dawnville (3 matches played, +30 round difference) and Burgundy (2 matches played, +11 round difference). For comparison, 🇨🇿 TeamGhost had their best stats on Matmata (RD +25) and Trainstation (RD +12).
