CoD2 FPSChallenge #2 5v5 LAN in Zagreb!

We have a full house! The 16th and final slot for the CoD2 FPSChallenge #2 has been officially claimed by the Croatian squad 🇭🇷 OTPISANI (zeher, frN, +3). With this, registration has closed in record-breaking time.

The event organizer, strumfich, has shared several key updates regarding the next steps:

• Reserve List Now Open: Despite reaching the 16-team limit, the organizer announced that payments for the reserve list are still being accepted. This ensures that if any currently paid team has to drop out or requests a refund, a backup team can step in immediately.
• Potential Expansion to 24 Teams: Due to the massive surge in interest, strumfich is considering expanding the tournament to 24 slots. This change would transform the LAN into a 3-day event, with matches beginning on Friday.
• Consultation Before Final Decision: Before any expansion is finalized, the organizer plans to consult with the 16 teams that have already paid. The goal is to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the format changing after their registration.

Strumfich requests that any teams interested in participating should the expansion happen contact him directly via private message (PM on DISCORD).

The Call of Duty 2 community has set the scene on fire! Just hours after the official announcement of the FPSChallenge #2 5v5 LAN in Zagreb, the team list has been almost entirely filled. 15 out of 16 slots are now paid and confirmed, leaving only a single vacancy for the event on June 6th–7th, 2026.

The remaining team will be fighting for their share of a massive prize pool at the HOG (Hall Of Game) Arena:

• Match Style: All bracket matches are Bo3 (Best of 3)
• Map Pool: Burgundy, Toujane, Carentan, Dawnville, Matmata, Caen, Railyard, Breakout, and Vallente.
